INVESTITURE BY THE KING
* SIAMESE PRINCE AND IRAN AMBASSADOR (Received February 3, 7.30 p.m.) RUGBY, February 2. The insignia of the Royal House of Shakri were handed to the King at Buckingham Palace by Prince Chula Chakrabongsa of Siam. The King in turn investec. Prince Chula with the insignia of the Grand Cross of the Royal Victorian Order. The King also received Mr N. Peterson, the new Ambassador to Iran and invested him with the insignia of Knight Commander of St. Michael and St. George.
