DUTCH ROYAL BABY NAMED
* WOULD RULE AS QUEEN WILHELMINA (Received February 2, 9.10 p.m.) LONDON, February 2. The correspondent of the “Daily Telegraph” at Soestdijk says that Princess Juliana’s baby’s full title is Beatrix Wilhelmina Armgard, Princess of Orange-Nassau, Princess of Lippe Biesterfeld. Wilhelmina and Armgard are the names of her maternal and paternal grandmothers. If she rules, it will be under the name of Wilhelmina. It is officially stated that Prince Bernhard attended at Princess Juliana’s confinement, in addition to two doctors and nurses, Queen Wilhelmina, and Princess. Armgard. Prince Bernhard's mother. Revellers stayed up all night long throughout Holland celebrating the birth of the Royal baby. Crowds watched military parades in the village of Soestdijk, which was gaily illuminated. * King George and Queen Mary sent a basket of red roses to the Palace. It was tied with British colours, and was accompanied by a congratulatory message in the King’s handwriting. The Netherlands Minister in Lon- j don (Dr. R. van Swinderen) in a broadcast address, expressed appreciation of the great and alfectionate interest shown in Britain in the birth of a daughter to Princess Juliana. The Netherlands Chamber of Commerce in London will hold a reception next week, at which the Lord Mayor (Sir Harry Twyford) and the Netherlands Minister will be present.
