WOMEN’S TEMPERANCE UNION
The first meeting for the year of the St. Albans branch o£ the Women’s
Christian Temperance Union was held recently, with Mrs W. Grigg presiding. Mrs H. S. Kings led the devotions. A telegram of congratulations was sent from the meeting to one ot the members, Mrs Jones, who celebrated-her golden wedding last week.
Helpers were chosen ta assist at the garden party, to be held at Mrs A. S. Adams’ home this month. Four new members were welcomed. Afternoon tea was served by the hostesses, Mesdames H. S. Kings, and
I). S.. Osborne, and an Interesting address was given by the Rev. W. Grigg, It was decided to hold the next meeting in the Presbyterian Church.
