♦—; DOMINION GOVERNMENT CONGRATULATED N.Z. MINISTER INTERVIEWED IN SYDNEY (Received February 2, 11.55 p.m.) SYDNEY, February 2. In an interview with the New Zealand Minister for Pensions (Mr W. E. Parry) the Sydney branch of the New Zealand Returned Soldiers’ Association congratulated the Dominion Parliament on the benefits provided by its new pensions enactments. , , A deputation discussed several phases of pensions reciprocity between New Zealand and Australia, expressing the hope that success would result from Mr Parry’s forthcoming conference with the Commonwealth Government. Mr Parry said he felt the association’s aims and suggestio s merited the consideration of the two Governments. He added: “It has always been my opinion that wherever in the Empire an incapacitated soldier is located he should be liberally treated for his great service to the nation, and that each component part should share the responsibility.” _____________
