EXCHANGE BREACHES IN GERMANY
PRISON SENTENCES IMPOSED
BY COURT (Received January 25. 11.20 p.m.) BERLIN, January 25. A three months' trial at Hamburg ended in nine convictions for offences connected with foreign exchange. The sentences ranged from two to 10 years' imprisonment, and heavy fines. Five of those convicted were Jews, three of whom were sentenced during their absence abroad.
