TO STUDY TRAFFIC ABROAD
INSPECTOR GIVEN CARNEGIE GRANT
Mr G. N. T. Goldie, assistant chief traffic inspector to the Wellington City Corporation, has been offered by the Carnegie Trust Corporation a travelling visitor's grant to enable him to study traffic problems and townplanning in America and Europe, bubicct to the consent of the city council Mr Goldie intends to take advantage of the offer. Mr Goldie, who is a son of the late Mr George Goldie, Wellington, is a member of the Institute of &urvcyou. an associate member of the lovtn Planning Institute, England and a member of the council ol the To vn Planning Institute of New Zealand. Recently he wks admitted as an associate member of the Institute of Iratfic Engineers. New York._
