SEA CADETS' ANNUAL CAMP

About 20 members of the Navy League Sea Cadet Corps recently returned to Christchurch after spending 10 days at their annual instructional camp on Quailtfsland. The camp was under the command of Sea Cadet Lieutenant E. Collins and Sea 'Cadet War-rant-Writer G. Badger. During their stay on the island the boys were instructed in sailing, signalling, and other branches of sea cadet work. A signalling station was constructed on the island, and while sections of the cadets were receiving in a whaleboat, they kept in contact with the station. On Christmas Day a short service was conducted for the corps by the Rev. E. Maiden.
