ANNUAL SPORTS AND PRIZEGIVING Heavv rain interfered with the sports of the pupils of the Sumner School for the Deaf, but the programme was completed partly in the school grounds and partdy in St. Leonard’s square. Because of the unavoidable absence of the usual visitors and parents, some of the group display work was omitted. Miss Leary. The director. Mr T. F. Chambers, offered good wishes to the pupils, and presented the prizes and awards. Amongst those present were tin Mayor and Mayoress of Sumner. Mr and Mis T.
