RECORD ESTABLISHED FOR NORMAL YEAR (BRITISH OFFICIAL WIRE:.ESS.) RUGBY, December 7. The Secretary for War (Mr L. Hore-Belisha) stated in the House of Commons that during the year ended October 31, 43.923 recruits were finally approved for the Territorial Army—an increase of 10.526 on the number finally approved in the preceding year. The figure is a record one for a normal year.
