BRITISH TERRITORIAL ARMY

COMMITTEE TO INVESTIGATE ADMINISTRATION (Received December 8, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, December 8. The personnel of the committee to inquire into the general administration of the Territorial Army was announced in the House of Commons. The Under-Secretary of War (Lord Strathcona and Mount Royal) will be chairman. Other members are Major-General Sir John Brown, Deputy-Director-Gen-eral of the Territorial Army, Colonel Viscount Cobham, vicechairman of the Council of Territorial Army Associations, Colonel Sir Robert Johnson, Deputy-Master and Controller of the Royal Mint, and Mr J. R. Wade, of the War Office. The inquiry will cover the organisation and finance of the County Associations and the simplification of relations between the War Office and the associations on the one hand and the associations and the units on the other.
