THREE DOCTORS FOR CHINA
N.Z. ORGANISATIONS TO. CALL FOR APPLICANTS (PRESS association tclnobah.) WELLINGTON, December 8, A decision that three doctors should be sent to China was made at a meeting of the joint council of the Order of St. John and the New Zealand Red Cross Society, held to discuss Far East relief. Authority was granted for spending £6OO on equipment. A committee comprising Sir James Elliott, Dr. Alexander Gillies, and Dr. T. Duncan Stout was formed to examine the credentials of applicants.
