UNEMPLOYMENT INSURANCE
AUSTRALIAN SCHEME TO BE ABANDONED CANBERRA, December 8. The Federal Government has de* cided to abandon the unemployment insurance plan because of the refusal of several states to co-operate, but it will persevere with the national health insurance plan early in the new year.
