CHRISTMAS PARTY

MOUNT PLEASANT WOMEN’S INSTITUTE

A children’s fancy dress Christmas party given by the members of the Mount Pleasant Women’s Institute was held at “Stonycroft,” the beautiful home of Mrs Arthur Morten. The dining hall was decorated with streamers of blue and gold, and the tea tables were set with dainties which delight children. Paper hats apd novelties were distributed at supper time. A happy time was spent playing games and the singing of popular songs. . Amongst those present were Ins Cook, Dorothy Barrar, Wendy Eade, Audrey Batchelor.
