CHRISTMAS PARTY
MOUNT PLEASANT WOMEN’S INSTITUTE
A children’s fancy dress Christmas party given by the members of the Mount Pleasant Women’s Institute was held at “Stonycroft,” the beautiful home of Mrs Arthur Morten. The dining hall was decorated with streamers of blue and gold, and the tea tables were set with dainties which delight children. Paper hats apd novelties were distributed at supper time. A happy time was spent playing games and the singing of popular songs. . Amongst those present were Ins Cook, Dorothy Barrar, Wendy Eade, Audrey Batchelor. Marie Morrison, Noeline Lawry, June Turland, Patricia and Linley Walton, Madeline Cannon, Margaret Roche, Janice Bate, Julia and Sylvia Scott, Georgie Chivers, Peggy Skey. Daphne Hodge, Koa Jones, Tot Buckley. Diana Keenlyside, Diana McMillan, Wendy Olliver, Barbara and Annette Kilner, Margaret Nicholls, Dorothy French. Patsy Smith, Barbara Rogers, Rosemary Wing. Tony McCullough. Bpy Hutchinson Douglas and Len Elphick, Halsey Williams, Peter. David, and Graham Mander, John Wright, Owen Roberts, Malcolm Campbell, Robert Barrar, Brian Smart, Billy Fleming, Alvin Batchelor, Bruce and Stewart McLachlan, Francis and Marcel le Quesne, David Lawry, Allan and Kelvin Churnside, Ronnie Tiso, Robin Short, Aidwin and Jack Cropp, Michael Tasker, John Lilly, and Ashley McDonald.
