STREET APPEAL TO DAY
* FUNDS FOR ST. JOHN AMBULANCE An urgent street appeal is being made to-day on behalf of the St. John Ambulance Association and Brigade, and, as funds are urgently needed for the maintenance of the fleet of six ambulances now in commission, it is hoped that everyone will give as liberally as possible. To those who are not in the city today, or who are not approached by the collectors, the hope is expressed that they will send in their donations to the secretary of the St. John Ambulance Association, Peterborough street, Christchurch.
