SUMNER HIGH SCHOOL
HOME AND SCHOOL ASSOCIATION The Home and School Association of the Sumner District High School held an enjoyable social at the High School to mark the conclusion of the year's activities. Songs were sung by, Mrs S. Davies and Miss M. Metson, the accompanist being Mrs A. M. Williams. Competitions and games were also enjoyed. Those present included Mesdames T Newburgh, G. W. Parry, R. W. Gale, H M. Stevens, Cecil Dick (Wellington), A. L. J. Shand, C. Rosier, L. S. Lipscombe, D. C. Wood, H. P. Smith, R Unwin, L. P. Petersen, E. McDowell, E O'Neill, D. E. Jowett. T. E. Whitfield, H W. Dawe, H. N. Buttle. E. E. Tombs, A. M. Williams, B. S. Dickson, D. E. Barlow, F. W. S. Murdoch, Miss Janet Brown, Messrs H. M. Stevens, T. Newburgh, H. N. Buttle, H. E. Kennett, and ii. E. Barnett.
