COMEDY HARMONISTS

FAREWELL PERFORMANCE TO-MORROW NIGHT

After their triumph at the Civic Theatre on Thursday evening, when to the delight of an enthusiastic audience they played and sang up to their world-wide reputation, the Comedy Harmonists are assured of a packed house for their final performance tomorrow evening. True to promise, they gave their patrons “something entirely new” in popular entertainment. They proved that like the lover in Shakespeare they can “sing both high and low." All who were unfortunate enough to miss Thursday night's en-

joyable concert should make a point of hearing the Harmonists' fareveit programme, for it will assuredly provide an entertainment which will live long and pleasantly in the memory. Their work includes some charming music by the masters, admirably presented in ensemble. On the comedy side, in which they revel, their imitations of the effects of jazz bands. their “oompahs” of the bassoons, and their “tweedle-ees” of the saxophones, their impersonations of the plucked strings, and their quacking effects of the reeds, all vocally achieved, are highly amusing. Seats may be reserved at the D.I.C.
