ROYAL MUSICAL SOCIETY'S CONCERT

Music of quality and interest will he presented at the Royal Musical Society's concert on December 1. in the Radiant Hall. "Maria Magdalena," o lovely work for women's voices ana strings, will be heard for the first time in Christchurch. Cesar Franck's violin and piano sonata, the Quartet in C Minor by Faure, and groups of songs by Chausson, Faure, D'lndy. and Debussy will be included. The soloists are all musicians well known for their artistic qualities and technical ability. Mr Ernest Jenncr is the musical director.
