NEW ANTIAIRCRAFT WEAPON
SECRET CLOSELY GUARDED
LONDON, November 12,
The newspapers are unable to penetrate the veil of secrecy surrounding Britain's new anti-aircraft gun, the existence of which was revealed for the first time in a guarded written reply in the House of Commons to Sir Victor Warrcnder, baldly announcing the gun's perfection. It is understood that the military authorities are satisfied after a year's research and huge expenditure that the gun will prove effective against air raiders.
