* / TOUR BY AUSTRALIANS PROPOSED ARRANGEMENTS FOR NEXT WINTER (PBKSa ASBOCUTIOH TELEGRAM.* NEW PLYMOUTH, November 8 A tour of New Zealand by eight Australian badminton players will be made aext winter. Arrangements have not been completed, but the president of the New Zealand Badminton Association. Mr C. j. b. Smith, expects that negotiations will be successful. It is suggested that the t»nm should be divided, two men and two women touring the South Island, and a similar number touring the North Island, the teams combining for a test match in the North Island. It is intended to combine sight-seeing With badminton, and free days will be provided to enable the visitors to see the Chief scenic attractions.
