The weekly counting of votes for the respective queens who are representing organisations in Temuka at the queen carnival took place yesterday.
the bulk of votes cast being found «» be in favour of the basketball queer* Miss Dorothy Bisdee. The maroon flag, which has been flying in third place, is now cm top. the green flag, representing the Caledonian Society* candidate, Miss M. Coffey, is in see>* ond place, and the Domain flag, bin* Miss Laurenson’a colours- a flying third.
