ROAD IMPROVEMENT IN BRITAIN
EXPENDITURE OF £4,400,000 PLANNED teamsH official wireless.) RUGBY, November 2. , The Minister for Transport (Dr. E. L. Burgin) has planned to spend £4,400,000 on road improvement with as little delay as possible. About £3,500,000 will be devoted to the provision of new by-pass .roads and the entire cost of the schemes now approved will be met from the road fund. Thirty-seven by-pass roads schemes are to be carried out.
