FUNERAL OF LORD RUTHERFORD
BRITISH CABINET MINISTER TO ATTEND (Received October 24, 11.30 p.m.) LONDON, October 24. The Secretary of State for Air (Viscount Swinton) will attend the funeral service for Lord Rutherford in Westminster Abbey tomorrow. The High Commissioner for New Zealand (Mr W. J. Jordan) will be a pall-bearer. BRITAIN EXPRESSES SYMPATHY MESSAGE RECEIVED BY LORD GALWAY (PBES3 ASSOCIATION TELKOHAM.) WELLINGTON, October 23. Great Britain's sympathy with New Zealand in the loss which the Dominion, together with the whole scientific world, has suffered by the death of Lord Rutherford was conveyed in a cablegram from the Secretary of State for Dominion Affairs (Mr Malcolm Mac Donald), v. hich has beeri received by the Governor-General (Lord Galway). _________
