♦ ELECTION OF OFFICERS The Rev. F. Gardner Brown presided over a meeting of members of the New Brighton Methodist Church for the election of officers. The following were elected:—Society stewards, Messrs R. E. Holloway, H. Hale, J. E. Scott, E. A. Bendall. Colin Buxton, B. Taylor, A. Hewett; news reporter, Mr R. E. Holloway; foreign mission secretary, Miss E. Cargeeg;' home mission secretary, Mrs Roy PepDerell; congregational representatives to quarterly meeting, Mesdames H. M. Hall and J. T. Clarke; circuit representative of the East belt women's mis- , sionary auxiliary, Mrs F. Gardner Brown; "Methodist Times" represents- * tive. Mrs W. Pepperell; sacramental , stewards, Mrs F.
