ACCIDENTS
THREE MEN INJURED MOTOR-CAR SKIDS INTO POU AT EDENDALE ' '/ (PBBSS ASSOCIATION TIIJtOaAiI.) INVERCARGILL, October 22. Three men were injured when * motor-car skidded and crashed into a telegraph pole at Edendale to-night They were Langford Joseph Williamson, service-car driver, of Wyndham, suffering from facial injuries, a fractured ankle, and shock: Thomas Hoi-' land, a labourer, of Wyndham, facial injuries and shock; D. W. Walsh, of Wyndham, cuts and abrasions. Williamson and Holland were taken by ambulance to the Gore Hospital. Their condition is not believed to be serious. The centre of the radiator of the car struck the pole, which was broken in half. ROAD WORKER SERIOUSLY INJURED (THE PRESS Special Service.] GREYMOUTH, October 22. Serious injuries to the head and chest were suffered by Michael O'Driscoll, a married man, aged 52, living at Otira, while working on the Kelly's Creek road deviation, near Aickens, on the Otira line.
