NO RECRUITING OF WOMEN'S CORPS
WAR OFFICE STATEMENT (Received October 22, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, October 21. In response to the suggested revival of the Women's Auxiliary Army Corps, the War Office has announced that it has no intention of recruiting any women's corps. Although certain women's voluntary organisations are in existence, the War Office has no direct connexion with them in the supply of personnel.
