| v I RACECOURSE CLUB'S ANNUAL MEETING At a meeting of the Waimairi - Beach Cricket Club, held recently, it was decided to change the name to the North Brighton Racecourse Club. The secretary reported that the year had been a good one socially and financially. It was decided to hold the opening day on September 19. The electija ot officers resulted:—Patron, Mr W. P. apem er: president, Mr W. J. Walter; vice-presidents, Messrs J. N. Clark. W. B. Short, and T. Stevenson; captain. Mr H. Marsha!]; vice-captain, Mr Les Barnes; secteiarv, Mr W. Hecker; treasurer, Mr S. Austin: auditor, Mr J. Hosking; committee, Messrs Fisher. L. Barnes, Wilson, Falcon. H. Marshall, Kirwan. S. Austin. Aicken, W. Hecker, and J. Hosking.
