PEN-PICTURE Golden Buttercups
As I walked down the path I was very happy as it was a spring day. I glanced out the road gate, and a number of golden buttercups met my eyes. Behind, was a clear, rippling, sparkling creek. On the wavelet were dancing some little sunbeams, and they seemed very happy, too. A soft wind was waving the golden buttercups, and making music on the lapping water. —DOROTHY WEAVER.
