CUSTOMS TARIFFS IN NEW ZEALAND
QUESTION ASKED BY MR S. G. HOLLAND [From Our Parliamentary Reporter] WELLINGTON, September 14. Information about the possibility of the Government revising the customs tariff this session was sought in a notice of a question given by Mr S. G. Holland (National, Christchurch North) in the House of Representatives to-day. Mr Holland asked the Minister for Customs ('the Hon. W. Nash) whether it was the intention of the Government to revise the customs tariff this session to enable those New Zealand manufacturers to continue in business who were at present threatened with being forced out of business by "the Government's cost-increasing legislation."
