DISSATISFACTION AT PRICES
— -♦ FARMERS’ UNION TO MEET MINISTER (r*ess ASSOCIATION TBLItGBAM.) WELLINGTON, September 9. The new season’s guaranteed prices for butter and cheese were discussed at length by the Dominion -Executive of the New Zealand Farmers’ Union, which has been sitting at Wellington. Dissatisfaction was expressed with the prices fixed, in so far as they relate to the increased costs of production, and it is the intention of the executive to meet the Minister for Marketing (the Hon, Walter Nash), and place their views before him.
