NATIONAL PARTY MEETINGS

Two well-attended meetings oi supporters of the National Party were held in the Riccarton electorate during the week. The first was at Motukarara on Tuesday evening, when a strong committee was formed, with Mr F. Miller as chairman and Mr E. Streeter as secretary. The second was at Prebbleton on Wednesday evening, when a committee was also farmed

with Mr F. Carpenter as chairman and Mr A. Tutton as secretary. Mr S. C. P. Nicholls, the organic, addressed both meetings on the aims of the party.
