The Rev. John Evans, who has been appointed vicar of Holy Trinity Church, Lyttelton, with Mrs Evans and their three children, arrived at Lyttelton yesterday from Hari Hari, Westland. The induction service will be held on Wednesday evening, and will be conducted by Archdeacon A. J. Petrie. Old Time Dance Arranged by the combined Oddfellows’ Lodges of Lyttelton, a successful old-time dance was held in the Oddfellows’ Hall on Wednesday night. Music was supplied by Mrs C. Pocock and Mr B. Demicheli played extras. Novelty dances were won by Mr P. Parle and Miss D. Butcher and Mr W. Briggs and Miss R. Norris.
