BRITISH BOXER MAY RETIRE
FARR'S COMMENT ON RECENT DISPUTES
(Received September 9, 12.35 a.m.) NEW YORK, September 8. Commenting on minor disputes that have arisen since his bout with Joe Louis about contracts and purses, the British boxer, Tommy Farr, said: "I have suffered only mental anguish and discomforts over the way the boxing game is at present being run. "I have saved enough to live in luxury for the rest of my life, and I am seriously considering retiring and not fighting again."
