ELEPHANT RUNS AMUCK

KEEPER DIES AFTER MUTINY

CIRCUS ANIMAL ESCAPES IN N.S.W. TOWN

SYDNEY, September 8. After fatally mauling its keeper, Jack Drummett, at Parkes, an elephant belonging to Perry Bros.' circus, ran amuck about the streets of the town, causing the terrified residents to take refuge behind closed doors.
