Subject to the approval of all th electoral committees concerned, th formation of a new division of elec toral districts was suggested at an en thusiastic and largely-attended meet ing of National Party committees fror all parts of South Auckland held i; Hamilton to-night The new divisioi comprised the electorates of Haurak Thames, Tauranga, Bay of Plenty, Rote rua, Hamilton, Waikato, Raglan, Wai tomo, and Waimarino. This would in volve a break away from the Aucklani division, and the opinion was express© that greater efficiency would be ob tained by such a course being taker The executive and officials of the ne\ division will be elected at a later dat< The Hon. Adam Hamilton, Leader c the Opposition, and Mr C. H. Westor K.C., president of the New Zealan National Party, attended the meetinf Mr Weston presided, and congratu lated the committees on the remark able progress that had been made i organising their electorates and on th extraordinary interest that was bein taken in politics in the country.
