OVERSEAS FORCES OF BRITAIN

♦ MOVEMENTS OF TROOPSHIPS RUGBY, August 26. Movements of British troopships will begin on September 7, when the new troopship Dunera will leave Southampton for Hong Kong with naval crews and Royal Air Force drafts for Far East stations and with military drafts for Hong Kong.* Other sailings during the month include the Somersetshire on September 11 with the Third Brigade, Royal Horse Artillery, for Egypt; the Lancashire on September 14 with military drafts for India; and the Nevasa on September 21 with the Second Battalion of the Black Watch for Palestine. The Nevasa will also carry families of members of the First Battalion, Royal Sussex Regiment, to Egypt, where they will join the battalion on its move from Palestine to Egypt. The Somersetshire will bring back from Egypt the First Brigade, Royal Horse Artillery, and she is due at Southampton on October 5.
