By arrangements with the Minister for Air (Lord Swintori), Imperial Airways will use one of the test flights of the long-range flyingboat Caledonia for showing the machine to the public in a circular tour of the British coast. The tour will begin next Monday and will last for three days. Starting from Southampton, the Caledonia will pass along the coast in an easterly direction, and will circle over as many of the principal watering places as possible. In all, 66 towns will be visited, and the tour will extend as far north as Edinburgh and Glasgow, which will be reached on the second day. The tour will then continue down the west coast, past Welsh seaside resorts, and as far as Pembroke. On the third day the flying-boat will complete the journey along the coast line round Land's End and so back to Southampton.
