MORVEN PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH

TRIENNIAL VISITATION FEOM TIMARU The congregation of the Uneven Presbyterian Church received the triennial visitation from the Tunaru Presbytery on Wednesday evening, when the Rev. R. J. Griffiths tWaimate), the Rev. J. Kirk (Waihao Downs), and MrW. L Hay, an elder from Waimate, met the minister, the Rev. F. Sutherland, the Morven elders. and the board of managers of the Morven Church.

The congregation received the visitation in the Morven Hall, Mr Sutherland presiding. The balance-sheet, presented by Mr E. J. Meredith, was adopted, the-state of the finances being considered highly satisfactory. A musical programme was contributed as follows:—Pianoforte solo. Miss E. Hay; recitation, Mr Chapman; song, Mr Roseveare; violin quartet. Miss A. Wilson and Messrs G. Stewart. E. Stewart, and G. Wilson; clarionet solo, Mr Sutherland; accompanist, Mr* Wilson.
