THEY GO ROUND AND ROUND AND ROUND

Oh, Lady Gay has had a wpnderful fortnight. She has met girls and boys from all over the country, whole schools of them; she has said "How do you do!" so many times that her voice has nearly gone; and she has worn out seven most expensive smiles. But it has been a wonderful fortnight. She has met her friends from Otira, and the girls and boys from Denniston, on the West Coast. She has seen the Shipmates of Aylesbury, and the club members of Hawarden. She has been greeted by the girls and boys of Ruapuna, and the Shipmates and Sunbeams of Le Bon's Bay. , Then up "The Press Ship" stairs, in ones and twos and threes have come more members. Anne Cooper, from Hanmer Springs, dropped in, with a smile, and left a dear little poem for the "The Gay Gazette." Olive and Nancy Riches, from Killinchy, appeared another day, and Tom Muir, from Camerons, on the West Coast. ON ANOTHER. Murray Thompson came from Wellington, and Ngaire Ross and Murray Barker, from Te Pinta; Jessie Pickering brought a bunch of good wishes from Peter Glover tucked a little Dunedin sunshine into his greetings. Lady Gay, too, met Louis Ellmers and his brother from Springston; June'Payne from Little River; Helen Earl from Hawarden, and many q few of Lady Gay , g visitm S he has been so busy that her head has gone round and round, as you see in the picture. Mother Bunch has gone round and round, too. She is the picture on the left hand corner. . The picture in the middle? Oh, that's Mary-Mary with her watering can. She s going round and round, too. _ JADY CAY
