MR LANSBURY MEETS MUSSOLINI

FRIENDLY TALK IN ROME ROME, July 9. Wearing a "peace" badge in his buttonhole, Mr George Lansbury arrived in Rome to-day. This afternoon Mr Lansbury had a 75 minutes' talk with Signor Mussolini. He said: "Signor Mussolini was most friendly. I am very pleased with our talk." Mr Lansbury's object is an international conference on disarmament and world peace.
