CANTERBURY CHAPTER ELECTS OFFICERS

Votes of thanks to the outgoing members of the committee, Messrs A. W. Bascand (chairman), C. J. Gray (honorary auditor), and Miss F. L. Cooper (honorary secretary and treasurer), were passed at the annual meeting of the Canterbury Chapter of the New Zealand Institute of Secretaries recently. The election of the chapter committee resulted as follows:—Messrs W. H. ,Amos, A. A. Cooper, W. McClure, A. W. Bascand, A. C. Hullett, T. W. Robson, E. C. Rawnsley, S. F. Marshall, C. J. Gray, T. W. A. Stringer, W. L. Watson, and Miss R. Thomas.

The chairman announced that the pominion annual conference would be held in Christchurch on September 3 and 4.
