CROSS-COUNTRY RUNNING
PACK RUNS RESUMED
TRAILS OVER HILL AND FLAT COUNTRY
The cross-country clubs resumed their pack runs on Saturday after the big relay race of the week before. The racing packs took their runs fairly easily, especially where trails went over hill country- Runs were held as follows: —
MARIST From the home of Mr and Mrs J. McCormack, Wyon street, Linwood, the Marlst Club folowed a six-mile trail through Bromley and Linwood, laid by F. Hendren and M. Costello. Results were:— Fast Pack—A. M. O'Connell 1. H. Goggin 2, P. Keenan 3.' Intermediate Pack—P. Sharp 1, A. Sheridan 2, E. Watson 2. Slow Pack—A. Flanagan 1, M. Kean 2, A. Smith 3.
PRESBYTERIAN
From the home of Mr and Mrs V. Collins, St. James? street, Linwood, the Presbyterian packs followed a trail laid by H. E, Collins and L. B. Collins. Results were:—
Racing Pack—R. C. Ritchie 1, C. C. Gordon 2, L. Wooles 3.
Fast Pack —G. Hlllier I, M. Lawrence 2, J. Labudde 3. Intermediate Pack—S. Carter 1, L. Rankin 2. I. Cardwell 3. n Slow Pack—G. Hay 1, K. Gough 2. G. Johnston 3.
UNIVERSITY
Members of the University Club were the guests of Mr and Mrs L. J. Darwin, Stratford street, Fendalton. Three packs followed a seven-mile trail laid by A. McD. Stevenson and A. T. Johns.' Results were:—

BAPTIST
The Baptist packs followed an eightmile trail from the Colombo Street Baptist Church, laid by J. Turner and P. A. Neilson. Results were:— Fast Pack—F. Mair 1, E. A. Riddle 2, E. Hardy 3. Intermediate Pack—M. Hardy 1, A. G. Webley 2, R. Balch 3. Slow Pack—R. Walsh 1, K. Newman 2, R. McKenzie 3.
ANGLICAN
Members of the Anglican Club were the guests of Canon and Mrs F. B. Redgrave. Fendalton road. A trail was followed through Waimairi and Riccarton. Results were:— Racing Pack—D. Forbes 1, J. CHRISTCHURCH
The Christchurch packs were the guests of Mr and Mrs G. L. Austin at a run from the Sign of the Takahe. A six-mile trail was laid by J. Martin and E. Knight. Results were:— Racing Pack—L. H.
