COURT AT BUCKINGHAM PALACE
THREE HUNDRED DEBUTANTES PRESENTED
LONDON, July 1. More than 300 debutantes curtsied to Their Majesties at the Court held at Buckingham Palace. The King created a precedent by wearing the grey and blue uniform of a Marshal of the Royal Air Force. A brilliant scene was witnessed as the King led the Queen through the white and gold Throne Room to the dais, where Their Majesties took their seats on scarlet and gold thrones.
