"THE PRESS" FREE INSURANCE
RENEWAL OF SCHEME FOR TWELVE MONTHS
LIBERAL COVER OFFERED TO READERS
The generous benefits of . "The Press" free accident insurance scheme are again available to subscribers. Those who have already applied for registration under the scheme are covered pending the issue of fresh policies to take the place of those which expired on June 30, 1937. Those who have not registered may do so at once, and policies will be sent to them when their applications are received. Payments ranging from £5 to £2OOO in cases of accidents are provided for under this liberal free insurance scheme, which is available to all registered readers of "The Press." The amount depends on the extent of the injuries suffered and the manner in which they are received. Ample provision is made not oriVy tor persons meeting with accidents while travelling in vehicles but also for those who suffer injuries through accidents in the home, the amount payable in the latter class being up to £ 150.
Readers will be interested to note that children aged from six to 17 years who are living with their parents are automatically registered by the registration of their parents. Husband and wife, too, are both covered by the same registration. The wide range of payments, from £5 to £2OOO, and the extremes of injuries suffered in accidents for which compensation is available, from death to a broken limb, show how comprehensive the insurance is. No restriction is placed on the registration of any readers between the ages of 17 and 70 years.
Thousands of readers have seen the advantage of registering under this scheme in past years, and there is no doubt that thousands more will do so, for there is no cost to the regular reader, who only needs to apply for registration.
