SHIPPING NOTES

The Waimarino did not leave Timaru on Thursday night as expected, and is now due here this morning to load for Auckland.

The Taupata is to load here on Monday for Nelson, Mapua, and Motueka. The Waikouaiti Is expected here on Tuesday from Sydney direct. After discharging and loading she is to sail for Timaru, Oamaru, Dunedin,'and Blulf, thence Sydney. The Wainui is to load here on Thursday for Napier and Gisborne. The Waipawa. which is loading here, is now to sail on Monday for Wellington. The German steamer Gera is expected at Lyttelton about July 15 from Wellington to discharge asphalt from New Orleans.

i MAUI POMARE REPORTS

The Maui Pomare, «n route irom Apia and Niue, reported yesterday that she expected to arrive at Lyttelton to-inor-row afternoon or evening.

RANGITIKI NOW EARLIER

The Rangitiki, which has been delayed by stormy weather and was expected at Wellington at 8 o'clock to-night, advised yesterday that the weather had Improved and she would now arrive at Wellington at 2.30 this afternoon. Passengers for the South Island will now have the option of leaving Wellington by the steamer express Maori to-riight and arriving at Lyttelton to-morrow morning or of remaining aboard the Rangitiki and arriving at Lyttelton on Tuesday morning.

CORNWALL LATER

The Federal steamer Cornwall is now to leave Auckland on July 7 for Wellington to continue discharge of her Liverpool cargo, and is due there on Friday. She will later complete discharge at Lyttelton, Dunedin, and New Plymouth.

TAMAROA'S ALL WELL

The Tamaroa, en route to London, has reported that she has been experiencing adverse weather conditions since leaving Wellington, but all on board are well. A call was made at Pitcairu on Wednesday afternoon.
