MINISTER'S RESIGNATION ACCEPTED
BISHOP OF DURHAM REPLIES TO MR JARDINE (Received June 16, 8.20 p.m.) LONDON, June 15. The Bishop of Durham (the Rt. Rev. Hensley Henson) in letter to the Rev. Anderson Jardine, who performed the religious ceremony at the wedding of the Duke of Windsor, said: "I can have no hesitation in accepting your resignation—Believe me sincerely, your Bishop."
