ELLESMERE CLUB
A four-ball bogey match was won by H. G. Chamberlain and R. T. Lambie with a card of 9 up. E. C. Vaughan and M. H. Boyd were 3 up, and Morrison and Scott 1 up. A stroke round in aid of the King George V National Memorial Fund, for which a trophy was given by Dr. E. W. Hunt, was won by E. C. Vaughan with a net 74. The winner of the junior sectiori was V. G. Mason, with a net 70. A tie between Dr. Hunt and J. Sullivan end V. G. Mason and J. A. Scott in a foursome match played early in the season was played off, Mason and Scott winning. Mr F. W. Page, who has been an enthusiastic member of the club for several years, was bidden farewell oh his departure for Auckland. The president expressed the regret of members at losing Mr Page, ard presented him with a set of hair brushes.
CHRISTCHURCH LADIES' CLUB The following players qualified for the Godby Bowl:—Mrs G. Turrell, Mrs P. SI Foster. Miss Tonkin, Mrs W. Toomey, Mrs Pumphrey, Miss White-Parsons, and Miss Beadel. Miss Stevenson and Miss Buchanan tied for the last two places.
