In a carriage procession fro* Windsor Castle to Ascot racecourse, the King and Queen drove with the Duke of Gloucester and the Duke of Kent, in the first carriage. Other members of the Royal Family and of the Windsor Castle Ascot week house party followed in six other carriages.
