KIEFER LOWERS TIME FOR 150 YARDS BACKSTROKE (Received June 7, 10.10 p.m.) LOS ANGELES. June 6. Adolph Kiefer (Chicago) lowered the world record for 150 yards barkstroke, covering the distance in lmin 39.95ec. The former record was lmin 41.8 sec. Paul Wolfe (Los Angeles) created a world record for the 150 metres medley, of lmin 49.35ec. The previous best time was lmin 51.2 sec.
