GILDO KNOCKS OUT RAYNER U-JtESS ASSOCIATION TELXGUAM.) WELLINGTON. June 3. Young Gildo, the Filipino, knocked out Clarrie Rayner, of Blenheim, in the fourteenth round of a professional boxing match at the Town Hall to-night. Gildo did the leading throughout, and took the aggressive from the tenth round onward, keeping up a relentless attack. Gildo had Rayner down for eight in the eleventh, for eight in the twelfth, and thr.ee times for nine in the thirteenth. Though Rayner fo«ght gamely, he could not withstand the hurricane attack of Gildo, and took the count for nine twice in the fourteenth round. Rayner went down a third time, and made a game attempt to rise at nine, but fell back on the ropes and was counted out.
