ELECTIONS IN BRITISH COLUMBIA
GOVERNMENT RETURNED TO POWER VANCOUVER, June 2. The Premier of British Columbia (Mr T. D. Pattullo) and the entire Cabinet have been re-elected. The victory is hailed as a rebuke to the P^dicals. The Commonwealth Federation secured 48 seats, the Liberals 30, as against 35 previously, the Conservatives eight (one), the Commonwealth Federation six (seven), Labour one (one), and Independents three (four). A plebiscite on compulsory health insurance was carried. The main Government plank was better financial terms at' Ottawa.
